Start with the target language
Before rewriting a homepage or landing page, collect the phrases your market already uses: competitor headlines, search queries, customer call notes, and the language inside demos or reviews.
Those inputs become the target intent set.
Compare your current page honestly
Paste your existing messaging next to the target set and look for the missing signals.
Are you describing features when the buyer is searching for outcomes? Are you using internal language when the market uses plain language? The fastest gains often come from these basic mismatches.
Rewrite by priority, not by volume
Do not rewrite everything at once. Start with the homepage hero, the strongest value prop section, and the core CTA path.
Once those sections match buyer intent better, the rest of the page becomes easier to align.
